IPL Technology is being used in aesthetic treatments to reduce or remove pigment, sun spts and freckles on skin, mostly on the face. It’s been emerging as a popular treatment in many countries. With high energy pulses it breaks the pigment which then lakes off or dissolves into the blood stream to fade its appearance on the surface. Treatment is safe for face, hands and decolletage.
One of the most effective ways to improve skin texture, fade pigmentation and minimise diffuse background redness is with IPL skin rejuvenation. IPL skin rejuvenation is a safe. Gradual process and this allows patients to return to work and their regular activities without risk of ‘downtime’.
How does IPL work for hair removal?
This IPL targets the pigment located in the hair follicle and shaft. The light is absorbed by the pigment in the hair follicle and this energy is converted to head which results in damage of the hair follicle. This damage causes delayed re-growth of hair and, in most cases, permanent destruction of many of the hair follicles. Unlike electrolysis, which disables one hair follicle at a time, the laser reaches and treats hundreds of follicles at a time.
Does it hurt?
IPL/SHR technology provides treatment with minimal discomfort and is virtually pain free.
How many treatments will I need?
We recommend six to eight treatments, In fact, it is not uncommon for a person to need six or seven or more. There are a variety of factors that can influence the number of treatments any individual may require to achieve the desired results.

Hyrdordermabrasion – the latest in skincare technology.
Hyrdodermabrasion utilises the natural healing powers of diamond crystals, water and oxygen to effortlessly exfoliate the skin generating deeply hydrated and healthier looking skin.
Hydrodermabrasion takes its name from the word ‘hydrate’ meaning to ‘cause to take up moisture’. This ability to actively moisturise the skin during the treatment process sets it apart from all other skin resurfacing procedures available, such as traditional microdermabrasion, chemical peeling and laser/IPL treatments.
Benefits of Hydrodermabrasion
Hydrodermabrasion treatments are highly effective in improving the skins texture, reducing fine lines and wrinkles, and giving deeper hydration to the skin. Blood circulation is improved which leads to greater collagen production and thus skin tone improvement. Other skin related conditions that may be improved by Hydrodermabrasion treatments are scarring, acne, unwanted pigmentation, blackheads and puffy eyes. Supplements and nutrients can also be administered using the system.
The treatment works differently from traditional microdermabrasion due to spiral shape of the tip, which has multiple abrasive edges, meaning that the skin is exfoliated several times as the tip is moved over it in a planning motion, whilst the serums applied soften the skin and sebum (skin oils) making it much easier to extract away impurities.
Ultra-Hydrodermabrasion uses a unique dermabrasion applicator combining diamond dermabrasion with hydrodermabrasion in one hand-held nozzle. This nozzle works by utilising diamond crystal heads with a high velocity jet of water and oxygen. This completely natural combination of diamond tip and micro droplets of water dispersed at high speed, strikes the skin and removes any dead skin cells with minimal effort and absolutely no pain to the client. The diamond crystal tips promote a deep exfoliation and rejuvenation of the clients skin.
